We’re excited to announce that Florence has joined Championing Social Care as a founding partner. Our co-founder, Dan, will be an ambassador for the charity.
Championing Social Care is a dynamic, volunteer-led group of health and social care leaders. The charity’s main aim is to share positive stories about care and highlight important industry developments.
Shining a light on care
As a founding partner, Florence will give Championing Social Care both physical and financial support. For instance, we’ll be the primary sponsor of Care Sector’s Got Talent, which is a Britain’s Got Talent-style event especially for health and social care.
We’ll also take part in Care Home Open Week, which encourages people to visit local care homes. The next Care Home Open Week happens at the end of June 2023: if you’re interested in registering, click here.
Supporting the sector
At Florence, we believe everyone deserves dignified, high-quality care. We want to put health and social care in the spotlight, highlight career opportunities and put the right people in the right roles across the sector.
“Most of us – and our families – need social care services for support at some point in our lives,” says Dan Blake, Florence co-founder. “Our mission here at Florence is to help fix the issues within the industry and relieve pressure on staff suffering burnout and exhaustion.”
Every week, we help 1,000s of care providers and 10,000s of care workers connect with each other to fill more than 100,000 shift hours. Every new partnership we make will help us make a bigger difference, and we can’t wait to see what the future brings.
Florence can help you schedule existing staff, find flexible nurses and carers to fill gaps in your rota, and provide essential training. Find out more and get started today.
