Safe hands
We’ve filled over one million shifts in eight years. With quality as one of our core values, we only work with qualified, highly specialist healthcare professionals and complex care nurses across the UK and beyond.
Our team
Benefit from a team of experts capable of supporting a broad spectrum of complex conditions, including acquired brain injury, end-of-life care, neurological conditions, palliative care, physical disabilities and spinal injuries.
Services we offer
Providing the highest quality of life and wellbeing to every individual.
Brain injury care
Those with an acquired brain injury suffer brain damage through occurrences like tumours, strokes, infections (like meningitis) or asphyxiation incidents. Traumatic brain injuries are the result of physical force like falls, car accidents or sports injuries.
Individuals with brain injury often face cognitive challenges and behavioural changes. Our nurses and carers work closely with these individuals and their families to thoroughly understand their care needs. Our complex care services aim to guide people with ABIs and TBIs towards independence and integration in all aspects of life.
Spinal injury care
Spinal cord injuries usually result from traffic accidents, sports-related incidents, manual labour or physical violence. These injuries can be life-altering and traumatic for both the individual and their family. With the support of a skilled team, those affected can continue to live life to their fullest.
Complex care packages for spinal cord injuries include nursing activities such as using neck immobilisation aids to minimise further damage, optimising respiratory function and providing psychological support. As recovery progresses, carers encourage safe mobility and independence.
Neurological care
Neurological conditions like epilepsy, stroke, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease can make it difficult for individuals to manage daily activities independently. Our complex neurological care focuses on symptom management and supporting individuals to live independently at home.
These conditions affect the brain or nervous system, impacting movement, speech, and overall behaviour. Complex care involves nursing care, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy, working in collaboration with healthcare assistants. Long-term support from qualified carers helps individuals with neurological conditions regain their independent living skills.
Physical disability
Physical disabilities are long-term conditions that limit mobility, strength, and the ability to perform everyday activities. Common disorders include cerebral palsy, spina bifida, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, and poliomyelitis.
Our complex care services provide tailored support plans for individuals with these conditions. Depending on the complexity and severity of the disability, these plans may involve a team of medical professionals, including physical, occupational, and speech and language therapists. Access to comprehensive interdisciplinary support is crucial for the independence and integration of individuals with disabilities.

What is complex care?
Complex care is a specialist form of support available to those with a chronic or long-term health condition, who require extra assistance to manage their symptoms and complete day-to-day activities. Complex care can be provided either at home or in a residential nursing home, depending on the patient’s preference.
What is complex care management?
Complex care management is a package of care designed to effectively assist patients and their caregivers in managing medical conditions. This may involve support from our clinical team and will require us to work alongside other health professionals, such as GPs, social workers and district nurses.
How do I arrange complex care for myself or a loved one?
Many clients are referred to us from the NHS while in the hospital, and our dedicated team work closely with professionals to mobilise care plans allowing for a safe and supported return home. However, if you have an existing Personal Health Budget (PHB) in place or you have not yet been referred and you or a loved one requires complex care services, then you can reach out directly to our team to discuss what services you may require.
